Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of MadSwaps, a daily tile-swapping puzzle game operated by MadMana, LLC (“MadMana,” “we,” “us”). By using MadSwaps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use MadSwaps.

Accounts

You can play the daily puzzle without an account. Signing in with Google creates a MadSwaps account, which is required to keep a synced streak across devices, make purchases, or host or join a party lobby. You're responsible for activity that happens through your Google account.

Display names

Your display name is shown to other players, for example in party lobbies and friends lists. You're responsible for the name you choose, and you give us permission to show it to other players within MadSwaps. You can choose a new display name once a week. We may reset or change a display name that breaks these terms, with or without notice.

Purchases and Premium subscription

MadSwaps offers optional cosmetic theme purchases and an optional Premium subscription. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

• Theme purchases are one-time purchases of digital content. They're unlocked on your account immediately once payment is confirmed.
• Premium is a recurring monthly subscription that auto-renews until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through Stripe's billing portal, available from your profile — cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Premium access through the end of the period you already paid for.
• All purchases are final. We don't offer refunds for theme purchases or for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or attempt to manipulate your streak, stats, or purchases outside normal play.
• Attempt to bypass, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the systems that verify puzzle solves or grant purchases.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to play or to submit results.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other players in party lobbies.
• Choose a display name that's offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, impersonates someone else, or contains personal information such as an email address, phone number, or home address.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms.

Ownership

MadSwaps' puzzles, themes, software, and content are owned by MadMana or its licensors. Purchasing a theme or subscribing to Premium gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use that content within MadSwaps — it doesn't transfer ownership of it to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

MadSwaps is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MadMana won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MadSwaps. Our total liability for any claim relating to MadSwaps won't exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and we'll update the effective date above when we do. If a change is material, we'll also tell you in the app, and by email if you have an account, before it takes effect. Continuing to use MadSwaps after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
